6mos. later 70lbs lighter and i still feel fat......

I don't understand why i can't rejoice in losing 70lbs, I feel like i will never reach my goal of a 215 before november. i got 35lbs more to lose. but for the past 2months i have been up and down, and along with that my emotions have been doing the same. at times i feel like i am a champion and others a failure........

oh no no no girl, 70lbs? Hell yeah! banded 12/30/10, I too am down 70lbs, just told myself today, yep that fat girl is still in there cause i was stuffing my face with cheetos...ugh! remeber it didnt take you over night to gain the weight its not gonna come off over night either. Look back at the photos of you 70lbs ago and then it will click. My daughter just commented today as she was looking at our album, wow mom you have lost alot of weight, that doesnt even look like you. Keep your head up, you have come this far to turn back....set small goals, dont look at the "big" picture, you can do this!!

I'm exactly in your place. Banded 12/21/10, down 71 lbs and still feel extremely fat. I'm rejoicing in my victory though. I've went from a 26 in pants to a 22. I'm able to wear heels again. I can move so much better. Life is getting better in general because I'm starting to enjoy it again. It's actually happening for you. 70 pounds is huge! Imagine someone handing you 14 five pound bags of sugar to carry around. That's how much you've lost! It's awesome.

70 lbs. That is great! I have been banded since 9/2/10 and have lost 67 lbs. Although I have went from a 16/18 to an 8. I am proud of my 67 lbs, especially the change in sizes. I went through a good month and half and didn't loose any weight. What I did notice when I finally started loosing the weight I actually went down to a 12 then a couple of weeks later to a 10 and now an 8. I still want to lose 20 lbs and try and get rid of my tire. I know I still have this tire and it makes me still feel big. I keep working at it, I know I could work harder but it's hard to get the motivation.
