I was denied by my insurance. They are requesting me to have an sleep study done. Have anyone out there been through this? I you have can you please tell me the process? What happens after the sleep study, do they resubmit and how long does that take?

Was that the only reason it was denied?? If so don't worry..do the sleep study and resubmit the paperwork. Every insurance company works a little differently. It can be very quick since it is a resubmittal. You may want to call them and see what they say. I wish you the very best!!!

I was boardeline with my ins company paying for mine. Thy made me do all of it sleep study to. It wasnt bad just weird and most people have to go back a second time for the sleep study so dont be surprised if you have to go twice.

This was an error on the side of your Dr's office.. Aetna requires sleep studies for approval. They shouldn't have submitted you without having one. Go get the sleep study and they'll resubmit you'll be approved after.
