Just Having a Bad Morning

I'm not getting enough sleep and its starting to affect my emotions, reactions and even my motivation.

I get home at 7:30 at night and still have to eat and do miscellaneous stuff before I go to bed. But I get up at 4 - 4:30 so I can do the elliptical, cool off (important piece) and get ready for work to leave by 6:30. I laid back down this morning and skipped the elliptical. I was just too tired. Instead of eating breakfast I grabbed a slim fast and drank it in the car.

Gonna try to spend some time this weekend figuring out how to make it a little better, somehow.

At least its Thursday! The weekend is almost here :-). Have a great day everybody.:)

Hi that sounds like a normal day for me, up early every morning (2:30; 3:30, or 4:30) have coffee, and catch up on pc till 6 am. Then get ready for work, have a shake and a multivitamin if I don't feel hungry, but I try to have two to three cups of coffee(a must for me). If I decide to eat breakfast, I have two eggs and a toast. That seems to hold me till lunch (10:30 to 11:30). Then it's water till dinner. I eat early most of the time, between 5 and 6. Then I go and do about one to two hours garden work. Your daily schedule should be alittle flexible like mine, so you can mix up your meal times, but do eat at least 3 to 4 times at 4 hour intervals. It's been working for me, and it may for you, just an option. I got use to the getting up early but I do go to bed around 9 pm or by 10 pm. The days I do get up early i am tired around 2 to 3 at work and just try to hang on till I get home. Days that I am too tired, I just relax--sometimes you have to do that, one day at a time, take some time for you. I know things need to get done but everyone deserves a break. I always readjust my schedule based upon my feelings-behavior and of course the weather. If it's raining that's a plus cause I get a break from outside. The thing to remember is to be flexible and adjust accordingly. You deserve a break too, and relax. Make your program work for you and think positively. Good luck.

Thank you! I've already found I eat differently when I'm tired. I have to adjust some time at work to relax away from my office for a little while to "recharge".

Have a great day, both of you :-)
