I can't break the bad habit. I can't stop drinkning while eating I think that is why I am not feeling full faster. I am losing very slow I have lost 27lbs since JAN 14,2010 I am at 6cc's and I still don't feel much restriction. Just wanted some advice. Is anyone else having this problem. Thanks Chachis:confused:

Hey Chachis, I am having the same problem with the drinking thing, I feel like I have to do it, or I am going to choak, or something??? I catch myself, and so what I have been doing lately is I just don't bring a drink with me when I eat. I will deliberatly take out a drink and put it on the counter or whatever and leave it there and then walk away with my food, and go to another room and then when I am done, I will be like oh I need a drink now, and what I do is I will take a sip and wash my mouth and thats all!!! Its hard to remember just don't grab anything to drink while you eat, get it after!!! Good luck, and remember a pound lost is one less pound to your goal!!!

I do the same thing, I find THAT is the hardest thing about the band, I catch myself ALL the time eating lunch w. a bottle of water in my hand. Its a hard habit to break and I have to write a note @ my desk @ work NO DRINK @ LUNCH, sounds weird but it worked so far. I take a sip after meals, thats it. It gets easier - good Luck....

I feel the same way, I sip instead of my usual drinking. I have been at 27 since Feb also. It is very frustrating. Good luck

I personally broke the habit by not taking a drink to the table with me but another thing that I have read is put a glass of ice in front of you...when the ice melts then you can have a drink...it will be 30-45 minutes by then.
