I have found a lot of recipes online. I have a recipe for baked potato soup that is AWESOME...its low fat, low calorie but kinda high in carbs. If you are interested, I can email you the recipe. I was banded 12/24/09. My email is autkel75@yahoo.com

Soups, chili, tender meats, mashed potatoes, bakes potatoes, etc... There's lots you can come up with. Eggs, omlettes, keish recipes, casserole bakes, etc...

Here's my doctor's recommendations for "soft food" stage: low fat yogurt, sugar free pudding, lean deli sliced lunch meats, canned tuna or chicken, soft non-fried fish, low fat turkey chili, meatloaf, ravioli, swedish meatballs, scrambled eggs, omelettes, cottage cheese, fat free refried beans with a slice of low-fat cheese (yum - this was my favorite!!). Lots of stuff to choose from!

"alfresco " chicken sausages about 17 gm of protein ...they come already cooked and have 4 different tasty flavors. I find them next to the kiobasa, precut deli meats. I cut one in half warm it up and peel of the cassing.

Also Cabot Cottage cheese.... 1/2 cup has 13 gm of protein and it doesnt taste bad at all.

i also have not found a protin drink that doesnt make me gag.. but everyother day i drink Carnation instant B or Special K protein shake with 10 gm of protein and 5gm of fiber always over ice.

You are just starting, it takes a while to adjust...im about 4 months out and i am still struggling and adjusting

Best of luck
