breaking the habit

i was wondering how has everyone who has been banded for a while coped with breaking old habits...i had a little break down moment last night...i got my first fill on the 2nd and obviously i'm eating a significant amount less and sometimes i get frustrated b/c i can't eat more and its not that i'm hungry its just the act of eating more i guess which always comforted me...anyone have any suggestions on how i can prepare myself to deal with these frustrations....

I have noo idea how to cope with the mind games that go on in my head. The food side is easy its just not possible but the rest????? I just ake each day as it comes and work thru the hard moments by doing something else or having a breakdown whichever way I go I have to pick up again and get going. Its a lot easier now and and the act of wanting to eat more is a battle I am winning. Try using a side plate for your meals this way its full not tragically a huge expanse of crockery.

Good luck

Keep blogging that is what has helped me the most. I do not eat at the computer. Head games are hard for sure but you can be a winner. Make an effort to just re focus on something else you like to do read someone else's blog and share your feelings with them. I just try to keep myself as busy as I can. I also use smaller plates I can't eat much at all it is so sad. I was sad about that for a while and then I started living my life NOT thinking about the food. We can do this together. Best wishes imaluckydog
