6 days to go

Hi everyone i just wanted to let people know whats happened.Im 31 178cm and 169kg at my heaviest.I went to see my surgeon and everything seemed to go ok.Come surgery day i went into hospital and went under the knife, only to be woken up later and told that my surgeon couldnt finish my surgery.I was really upset over it but i went back a few weeks later to get another surgery date.I put myself on the optifast diet to lose weight and im hoping fingers crossed that ive lost enough weight to be able to get it done this time round.Im booked in for the 16th november and im really really hoping its going to go ok this time:thumbup:

Wow.. u mean to tell me that didn't know that before the surgery date was scheduled? That is weird.. So you were actually operated on? or just put to sleep?

I'm struggling here with not wanting to make you nervous, but no way would I be going back to a surgeon who couldn't complete this surgery (I'd be looking for a new surgeon). My doc doesn't have a pre-op diet, operates on some of the heaviest people that other hospitals won't take and has never not been able to complete a surgery (not even for a fatty liver). -BG

I was operated on.At least i know what im going to be feeling after the surgery is actually done. Not sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing.when i went back to see my surgeon she had explained that she didnt want to take the chance that she would damage my liver..fingers crossed for next monday..lol
