First FILL?????!!!!

Damn I went in today and after being poked for about 20 mins and serriously 30 sticks later... nothing!!! they cant find the damn hole !@!@#$ Now I have to go get xrayed to see what happend and hope that my port didnt flip. Im still losing weight but its all me doing it and not the band. theres a kick in the ass. So here i go the P.A. tells me the worst case is the have to operate AGAIN!!!

omg i don't wanna know this... i have my first fill scheduled for 7/22... i feel like i can feel the port on my stomach; but it feels much larger than what it is which is weird. does your doc not use xray during the fill? mine doesn't (i asked) however from a lot of what i understand most docs only poke knowing they have located the port hole. .makes me a bit nervous...

Don't be nervous really does not hurt that badly. You will feel some pressure, and than it quickly goes away. Good Luck!

I had many fills. There are 3 lap band surgens in the doctors office. I had all 3 try to fill and unfill me. One doctor could get my port after a few trys. The other doctor after a lot of pokes still could never get me. My doctor can on the first try. He said that my port was very curved maybe an x-ray would be better then surgery. You may also just be curved.
