Ok. I read all of the post about how terrible the first fill is. I really lucked out! I was prepared for a horrible office visit. Luckily I did not have too much pain. Evidently the way my Dr. Put my band in I only have one incision for the band and one for my hernia repair. The Doctor used a 19 gage needle and inserted it through my incision in my belly button as I did a stomach crunch. He pegged the port the first try. The fill itself was not bad except for the guzzling water to be sure t
November 30th was my first time back to the Dr. Office. All went well! No problems thus far eating. I am surprised that I can eat but I am sure not eating what I used too:) I will not get a fill for about a month and I am looking forward to it. I am not feeling too much restriction from the band. I am thrilled to have finally been approved for this surgery! Just getting ready for it I have lost 20 pounds. I got banded on Friday the 20th of November and have lost about 7 pounds, I will get the official word tomorrow from the Doctor how much Ive lost according to his scale:smile2:. I have just begun eating soft foods yesterday and so far so good. I have been feeling great and cant wait until I can throw out some of my fat clothes!!
