Hi There! I'm new to this forum, but I'm glad I joined. I'm 31 years old and I have been battleing obesity since I was 15, I had tried all diets and had always lost weight, just never kept it off. So, I started researching lap band surgery 2 years ago and for the most part was "sold" but couldn't get up the courage. I began this journey in August attending my seminar, and now I'm 10 days from surgery 12/21/09. I'm doing my pre-op diet of meal replacement shakes right now. It took me a long time to come to this decision, but I'm glad I did.
I'm very nervous about the pureed diet week because I have huge issues with texture of my foods. I tried buying the turkey baby food because the jar has 8g of protein, but I can hardly get it down!! Any suggestions on how to make this week easier? I know its 3-4 weeks away, but I'm trying to buy things now so that I'm ready.
