Got my date!!!!!!!!!

Got my date today Dr. 11-18-2009 and surgery date of 12-4-2009 . They told me I could go back to work on monday after. I told her I drive a bus and she said a lot of people drive buses and go back after 2 days.Well I am taking off a week just to be sure I wont be in pain.:smile2:

I cant wait to get more information from my consultation. From what I have gathered from my insurance company they only need a psych eval and a nutritional consultation. I am hoping to get a date for the end of December if not I am thinking of pushing the surgery to February (Presidents day):unsure:

I have my date, it's November 25th. I'm on my pre-op diet, I start my shakes and protein bars this friday. I have about 2 weeks left and i'm excited.:smile:

I personally wouldn't have been able to drive a bus after two or three days. It took about three weeks before I felt human again :tongue_smilie:

But, judging from others' posts, I had a harder time of it than most.
