  1. My surgery was 12/19/2009. Since the day of surgery (13.5 weeks ago) I have lost 24.5 lbs. Most of it right after surgery. For seven weeks, I did not lose a pound. I just went up and down between 1 and 5 pounds. Last Friday, I had my 3rd fill and I have finally started losing a little. 3 lbs since Friday. But I know that this is not the green zone. I have another fill on April 2nd and hopefully that will give me restriction. I still dont regret having the surgery. I have just realized that it is not going to be as easy as I thought it would. Ive been documenting my journey on youtube if anyone wants to watch. YouTube - ccee30's Channel
  2. Hi Vicky, I know its been a long time since u posted this but I am having the same problem. How did u get unstuck?
  3. I was banded yesterday.Arrived at the hospital at 9 am, had my surgery at about 1:30 pm Left hospital at 7:30 pm. I had to stay in recovery a little longer bacause they kept telling me I was not breathing well. When I woke up it wasnt too bad. Mostly felt soreness at the port site. Could not sleep very well last night. My back was bothering a little. I wanted soooooooo much to sleep on my stomach. Really bad sore throat. Going to the bathroom a lot. Oh.....and still hungry! Ay, ay, ay!!!!!!
  4. My day is finally here! Need to be at hospital at 9 am. Very nervous. Could hardly sleep. I have a little bit of congestion and I hope that is not a problem. Please pray for me.....and my mom. No my mom is not getting banded but she worries a lot! I think there were only 2 others being banded today on this thread. Good luck to you guys!:smile2:
  5. Well that makes me feel a little better. Hope ur surgery went well.
  6. I am on day 6 with my pre op diet and I hate to say it but I cheated. I am a teacher and we had a pizza party today and I gave in and ate a slice. I am going to exercise today in order to make up for it. Surgery is this Saturday.
  7. This is my 3rd day on my pre-op diet and I have a huge headache. I had my last Coke on Friday. Could this be withdrawal? It really sucks.
  8. I will not be returning to work right away. I'm a teacher and our last day of school is the 18th. My surgery is the 19th. So I wont have to go back until January. :rolleyes2:
  9. Finally got my surgery date. I changed doctors. Went to see my new dr today. Dr. Nicholson. I didnt think he would be able to do my surgery until January. My date is Saturday December 19! I don't even have to take off of work. Have to start my liquid diet tomorrow! Only 1 week. So happy for that. Drinking my last Coke right now! Cant believe its going to happen!
  10. You are sooooooo sweet. Thanks.
  11. Hey KarynA, you can take my name off the list for now. I am changing dr.s so I dont think I will be getting banded in December.
  12. I know how u feel. But at least u have a surgery date. I dont have a pre-op appt or a surgery date and I was approved a month ago. I was told that they cannot give me a pre op date until they know my surgery date. Supposedly my doctor is having a hard time getting surgery time at the hospital. I say keep bothering them. I've always been quiet and have noticed that the "loud" people in life are the ones that get what they want. Im calling my dr again tomorrow!
  13. I love the way you organized this!
