I have eaten a popsicle last night with water today I have had half a popsicle, some poweraid, and some jello I am going to have chicken broth before I lay down. I still feel miserable but things will be okay:redface:

Congrats on your surgery. Wow, jumping right back to work, that is impressive.

Don't push yourself too much, remember this is healing time.. and you will need to keep your strength... make sure you get your protein in...

Keep in touch.

Well last night being my first night back at work and everything was okay until the gas came rolling in  I can not begin to explain the pain that gas caused me ohhh some where there should be a warning about the gas :cursing:. I got home and was just in tears from the pain but hey after about an hour of laying down the unthinkable happend  and relief came I think its the happiest I have ever been to umm :tt2: blow a raspberry of sorts.

So today is my 2nd day post op and it started with a real bang ha!!! But I do feel better I drank my Protein shake this morning and had a popsicle later on with some chicken broth with lots of Water and poweraid mixed in I think for dinner tonight I shall have another Protein Shake wooohooo I am on my way.

The gas pain is def better still there but managable now there is so much of it I cant wait until I can be a lady again lol. :w00t: It is slowly getting better and better and today I started my day off with food mmmm I feel so much better having cream or wheat in my stomach  I am going to write them a love letter. Its a slow process but its a process and everyday I feel better and Monday we will see what I have lost in my first week!!!:wink2:

23_33_11.gif That Protein causes a lot of gas...so it will be around for a while...but the painful gas is only in the beginning.

I have heard that but whats weird is there was non before the surgery you know when I was on the Protein for two weeks straight and now I dont even drink one a day and holy cow I am an orchastra in my own right :smile2: It makes me laugh and of course laughing still hurts :) so its a double edge sword but it is getting better and today is my follow-up we shall see if I lost some weight!!!

Has anyone lost a huge amount the first week:tongue_smilie:

Good luck on your follow up today. I had a good weight loss during the liquid diet period. When you start on mushies and then regular food the weight loss slows...thats when you need to start the work outs (yuck). My loss has slowed a lot and I have had 2 fills but am only at 2.5 cc's. I'm getting a little discouraged but my Doc says that I am doing good. My next appt. is 12/4, hopefully I will get another fill. Don't get me wrong...I am still very happy with my choice and I am just being impatient....it is one of those days!
