I got the official word today! My band will be be placed next Tuesday the 10th!! I think I might pee my pants I'm so excited! Now for the home stretch. A few more days on this horrible no carb diet and then the 2 days of liquid diet and I am home free. I also found out I have to give my self a shot the night before surgury of lovanox and also everyday for 10 days after my surgery! Ouch! Wont that be fun!

What is the shot for? Congratulations on your surgery. I pray everything goes great for you. I am 3½ weeks post op and doing good, never had any problems really a couple of stuck times but they were not bad at all.

She said it was a medication to help prevent blood clots.

I had those shots in the hospital. They said they might prescribe them for me at home as well but didn't.

Hello All, I'm being banded on this Friday (11/06/09) and excited and nervous at that same time. I can't wait to get the show on the road, so I dont have to worry myself sick anymore..lOL
