just got banded

Hello all, I was just banded on 9/24/09. I feel like I have heartburn after I drink. What kind of gas do they put inside of you? I feel huge. I lost 4 lbs. in 4 days. How dod I get that ticker thiingy?:smile2:

Try walking and Gas-X for the heartburn/gas.

I also just got banded on Sept 24th and I also had lots of gas. Walking does help get rid of it, but try using a heating pad on your stomach and it also helps. This has been a life saver and I do feel not as blotted today, but it still early.

i was banded on 9/23 and I feel HUGE too!!

I am so bloated...I gained 10lbs right after surgery....now I am down that 10 plus another 5!!

I still have major bloating though!

If I am not mistaken they put Carbon Dioxide in you. For some reason I did not bloat or have much gas pain. I have not had gas pain since the 1st day. (23rd) I did however have wicked heartburn on Saturday. I took a prilosec and a buch of Mylanta and it seemed to take care of it.
