On Thursday I got a Lapland fill. He was only supposed to put in .5 cc he put in 1.5cc for god knows what reason. (triple the dose) I drank water there and immediately threw the water up. Unfortunately he had already taken out the 6 inch needle from my abdomen. He stuck it back on me and took out .5 cc (leaving 1 extra cc still in me) I drank water and held it down. It went into my lapband portion of my stomach but I couldnt tell if it was going into my actual stomach. When I got home i drank more water and immediately threw it up. I called DR. and he told me to drink warm liquids and that my stomach was swollen from the tightening. I was unable to hold down liquids or my saliva on Saturday either. I am weak and lethargic and confined to my bed now. He opened the LA office for an emergency removal for me. He took out .5 cc( leaving the original .5 cc he was only supposed to put in in the first place) My stomach is bruised from the 3rd needle injection. I drank 2 bottles of water and he released me. On Sunday I wasn't able to consume protein shakes or naked juices. I could consume most of the water I drank. The damn thing is still to tight and I havent eaten since Thursday morning. I missed work on Monday. Dr said to rest and drink warm liquids and my stomach was swollen still but it will be better Tuesday. Tuesday morning I dragged myself into work and still couldn't eat or drink. I called my Dr. and he told me to come back to LA immediately and get checked. He thought that my LAPBAND slipped. Meaning that it slipped from its original position and went over the top of my whole stomach preventing any intake of any kind. I thought I was going back into surgery yesterday. He removed .5 cc of saline from my band and I drank 2 bottles of water. It was different this time. I could tell it was pouring into my bottom stomach. Relief !!!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah, He had to stick that needle back into my stomach! friggin ouch. I now have the same cc's in my band than when I originally went on Thursday. What a nightmare! I am eating and drinking and have not thrown up since Yesterday morning before I went to LA. Yeah..... I am currently 210 lbs and BMI of 32 I am not ever getting a fill again!-

I went to LA today and the Dr. removed 0.5 cc I feel great. Thanks. Warm tea didn't work

Thanks everyone. I just called my Dr. cell # , and he said to drink warm tea and it should subside. If not then he will open the office tomorrow for me...whew..

October 20 I received my first fill of 2cc. Last week I felt that I could eat more and scheduled another fill date with my Dr. on Nov.20. I answered all the answers correctly and he gave me an extra 1.5 cc. I sat in the waiting room and drank my water and it went down fine. I forgot that he told me liquid diet for two days and i had a cheese stick when I got home. I threw up and threw up and I found it impossible to drink last night. I was hoping for a miracle this morning, but found I was unable to keep down the sips from my protein drink. Now Its just sitting there a little hung up. What is happening......... My band wasn't tight last night . Is it tight now because I threw up??:thumbup:

45 min ago I got a piece of burrito stuck. I threw it up and now I keep dry heaving and spitting up saliva. When will it stop. It hurts

I didn't get numbed. I laid on the table and did a half sit up and he poked the needle in. (3cc) I had to sit up and I still had this HUGE needle sticking straight out of my port. I had to drink water and the first drink stayed half ways in my throat. He took out one cc and I could swallow all the water.

I got my first fill today 2cc. It hurt like hell. The Dr. told me 2 days liquid, 2 days mushy. 5th day normal. I get filled in two more months. How much pain was everyone in?

I feel so bad for you. I have been banded for 11 days and I drink water, my muscle milk 3x a day and have cereal in the morning. I can honestly say that I am not starving to death. I am not even hungry. Its the weirdest thing. I hope it gets better for you. Diana D.

Hello all, I was just banded on 9/24/09. I feel like I have heartburn after I drink. What kind of gas do they put inside of you? I feel huge. I lost 4 lbs. in 4 days. How dod I get that ticker thiingy?:smile2:
