Hello,
I was banded 08/31 and now I am on solids. But I am only getting in about 500-600 calories a day. I am basically eating yogurt, egg, cottage cheese, turkey, chicken breast and fish. And don't forget the Protein shakes!
I am eating the recommended portions and have not overeaten. I have been getting at least 60 grams of protein in a day.
Not supposed have to have veggies or fruit yet. Can we eat red meat yet? (like ground lean)
How are we supposed to lose eating so little calories? I know my body is taking everything I am eating so how do we get up to the 1000-1200 calorie range?
I do not get filled til 10/22. Someone was saying once the swelling is completely gone and everything completely healed, the hunger will come back. That has not really happened yet.
Since I started mushies and food and have only lost 1 lb! Compared to the 15 I lost on liquids after the surgery!
Would love to hear what others have experienced and when they found their groove, so to speak. Would be interested in knowing what and how people are eating to get the calories in.
Thanks
