1 October Surgrey

Well i have to say i am starting to get a bit nervous, but am finding some comfort on here reading alot of the post.

So are there any Oct surgerys out there? Would really like to start getting a good support team going as i work up to that day and beyond. On 17 sept i have to start 2 week liquid diet and am really going to try to start maybe having one meal a day with a shake, that way i dont go cold turkey and body is starting to get use to liquids.

Would like to chat with anyone who has just been through it or about too.

Good luck to all.

I know you must be excited about your surgery date. I was banded in July and have been very happy with the process. Hope you will be too. I will be happy to talk to you any time.

I am being banded on Sept 23rd!!

I am feeing nervous too and have been trying to eat like I am banded...small portions..practicing chewing, drinking shakes for meals..etc...

I think having support is so important and congrats on your surgery date

:thumbup:I am excited, my surgery is set for Fri Oct the 2nd. Only a few weeks to go... i cant wait!

Hello. Congratulations, bet your getting as nervous/excited as I am. My surgery date is October 7th. I wish it was tomorrow. Can't wait to hear how everything goes with you and how your liquid diet goes. My Doctor told me that I don't have to go crazy with the liquid diet but maybe a shake for breakfast and lunch then a resonable dinner with lean meats and veggies. Good luck to you! Ellen

I am scheduled for Oct 1st!! I am also excited and nervous at the same time.....I am more excited right now but I think that when it comes closer, I will be very very nervous!

My date is Oct 7th as well. I have the same pre-op diet of 3 protein shakes a day plus one meal of veggies and low fat meat, 1 dairy and 1 fruit. It will be interesting to see how much I lose on that. I'll be in Florida for one of the weeks swimming a lot so that will help! Good luck to you all!

Just a test to see if I loaded my weight tracker correctly. I was guessing how to do it.

Hey! I am not 100% sure, but I am aksing for October 1.
