That is fantastic! I started 2 months after I was banded and it just helped melt the weight. I never thought I would say I love working out but now I feel like a slug if I miss more than one day a week! Good luck on your journey!

Awesome!!!

The benefits last far outside the time in the gym. An hour workout raises your metabolism for as much as 48 hours, even while sleeping.

You also end up with more energy in general, so you are more likely to do the little things around the house and yard you've been avoiding, which burns even more calories.

Keep it up!

I went to the gym for the first time today too.I was there for a whole hour using almost every machine.I felt so energetic. It was amazing.Best of luck to you and the rest of my new band family.Take care.

Two months ago was my 1st day, and I will have to say that if I would have known that it would be like this, I would have been going all along. I was full of energy during and well into after I left the gym. I do not view it as a chore at all. I kow that I am going to feel more enegy afterwards on top of feeling better about myself. When I first started, I did not have a MP3 player, and it sucked, but once I got me some music going. It made it a blast. Be sure to download fat as well as slow songs for your cardio, and cool downs.
