I'll be glad when I can........

Ok so we are always talking about our dates, pre-op diets etc etc that I needed a break for just a minute.

So fill in the blank..

I'll be glad when I can........

It can be anything from fitting into your favorite sz 10 jeans to finally getting to ride the roller coaster....comfortably.

Let's share and have fun with this.

So

I'll be glad when I can........

Great thread idea!!! I've got quite a list!

I'll be glad when I can...

  • not worry about weight limits on rides
  • shop in the regular section
  • cross my legs in a lady-like fashion
  • sit in any chair comfortably
  • wear my beautiful rings again (without getting them upsized)
  • tie my shoes comfortably
  • see my collar bones
  • wrap up in a regular sized towel
  • walk up a flight of stairs without being winded
  • see my "cat" without a mirror (I know...TMI)

Can't wait to read y'alls. I'm sure you'll make me think of other things to add to my list!

LOL these are all great!!! :bored: I'll be glad when I can....

look at the scale and not see a 2 at the beginning

shop in the "cute clothes" stores

go out with friends and not be the biggest one

play with my son outside and not get super hot immediately

I think all mine are taken.

...when I hit ONEderland.

...when I don't have to buy plus sizes.

...when I can buy a pretty bra, not a big bra.

...when I can decide what to wear based on what is pretty, not what covers the fat the best.

...when I am FIT instead of FAT.

Love this...

I'll be glad when i can:

** pass the plus size clothes stores

** stop taking diabetes meds

** Not worry about fitting into a ride at an amuzement park

** Not worry about squeezing in airplane seats

** Not be self conscious about being seen nude!

** Dress in super cute/sexy clothes

** Be able to go dance my A** off and not have people looking for the wrong reasons.

** Have the scale reflect 'ONDERLAND!'

Smile

have knee surgery that I really need once I get the extra weight off.

The rest of it's just gravy.

Thought of one more this morning...

--have thighs that dont rub together!!!! (is that possible??? lol)

.....wear cute/sexy clothes & look good in them

.....run around outside w/ my kids

.....not have to depend on some1 else to catch my 4 year old when hes running around

.....have the scale be in "onederland"

.....be able to see my feet when I am standing up & looking down

.....READY TO LAUGH..to be able to when I take my kidz to the waterpark get in the tube at the "lazy river" & not fall over, to actually fit in the tube & sit comfortably & enjoy the ride....LOL the little things that mean SO MUCH

....to NOT have my 4 year old see his mom as "big & fat"

:D:)

~ Wear everything in my closet that still has tags on it because I outgrew them before I had a chance

~ Run around the park with my nieces and nephews for more than 5 mins at a time

~ Not be the "fat friend"

~ Actually LIKE the way I look in pictures

~ Go hiking, camping, rafting, etc...(i.e. everything my friends do for fun during summer around here)

...and the list goes on.

Great thread! Thanks for posting!

This is such a great thread!!!

I'll be glad when I can get changed at the gym and not hide in the bathroom stall.

Go to an amusement park with my kids.

Stop checking to see if I am the fattest person in the room.

of course wear CUTE clothes not just what covers me up best.

Michelle

Be able to get on the plane and easily fit into the seat and not be constantly rubbing the person next to me and be able to pull the seat belt over instead of worrying whether or not I will have to ask for an extension.

Leave the big girl stores behind me.

Take my after picture and compare to my before.

Go have all my rings sized down.

Go out to lunch with my sister-in-law who looks amazing and not feel like a frump.

16lbs away from onederland! Yeah!
