I just got off the phone with my insurance. I am approved for surgery. I can't believe it. I swear this has been the longest 3 weeks ever. I have no fingernails, and i think I think I have eaten over half of the state (total stress eater). This is such a relief.

So I will be having surgery on OCT 12. Any others out there with October dates?

Congratulations to you. That's AWESOME! I am still waiting. I spoke with the doctors office today and am just waiting for them to review my upper GI and then everything will be submitted. I can't wait! Hopefully I will hear something by next week.

I have been going through the "hoops" since last April and am finally scheduled for Oct. 11th. I am soooo ready!!! My doctor made me lose some weight before even scheduling and now the last 10 days I am on his liquid diet which is a real challenge but as long as there's a deadline, I can do it!!
