I am seeing my surgeon tomorrow for my first fill (yeah!) and have started a list of questions:

1. What size is my band?

2. Will the port always get sore, or does that go away?

3. How much is a typical fill/how much will this fill be?

4. What can I expect immediately after a fill?

What other questions would you recommend I ask?

Those are good questions to ask -

I would add:

-- what kind of diet and how long (even if you have been told before...I ask the doc at the appt)

-- can they numb the port area prior to the fill (it took my doc a little prior to finding the correct area to inject the fill)

I'd ask him how long does it take his average patient to really start losing weight/reach good restriction. :blushing:
