Hi y'all

I'm new here but have been visiting for about two weeks, this is a great web site!!!!

Anyway my name is Krissy, I'm married, mother of two beautiful children(they're really monsters)

I went to my first appt. with the doc last Tues, I'm waiting on insurance approval and going insane, my BMI is 40.1 with no co-morbities. What are my chances, I have UHC? I woke up at 4am with chest pains, I must be stressing about getting approval from insurance, I hope?...........lol

Hi Chrissy!!! I had UHC with a BMI of 51 with some co-morbidities(severe sleep apnea, swelling, wheezing). I started the whole process on 7/28/05 and was approved on 8/13. UHC is pretty easy to work with.

Hi Krissy,

I was approved by UHC with no problem (co-morbities were high cholesterol and major back problems). Good luck with your approval! Having UHC seems to be the magic bullet... everyone else has trouble.

Welcome aboard - good luck with your approval - I have BCBS and was told that I would have no problems (which I didn't, they were wonderful) but I was still on pins and needles until I got the official word. You'll be fine - just stay relaxed.
