Just wondering how many sizes there are and which one's are the most common? I got a card after surgery that said it was "small" but during my first fill the doc said I had a size "large" band. I'm going to ask for clarification. Not that it matters in the end, but curious minds want to know! I believe he said my band holds 10 cc. I walk out of there shaking my head wondering why I didn't ask the questions while I was there.

Mine's Lap Band AP Large holds 14 ccs.

I've got a 9.75cm 4cc band.

My band holds 14cc's

i have 10cm. that holds 4cc.

I was told by my doctor's nurse that I had a different band than I really did. She said I had an AP Standard 10 which holds 10 cc's. When I went to another doctor for a second opinion and he read my operative report, he told me I had a 4cc band. I did some investigating through medical records and backed up by Allergan and I do have a 4cc band. My (former) doctor overfilled me to 3cc because he either actually thought I had a 10cc band or he didn't know how to properly fill a 4cc band. Either way, it was enough for me to leave him and change doctors. So, you need to find out for sure what type and size band you have. If necessary, ask medical records for the information.

I have a 10cc Lap Band AP with 5.6ccs of fill.

I have an 11cc realize band and was just filled to almost 6 cc's at my first fill yesterday

Mine is 14 CC and it's like 6 full or something - I probably will reach goal before another fill
