I did experience some sharp pains at random times in my port area after having surgery. They were sharp and quick and went away fast. They told me it was part of my body healing. If yours get worse or is prolonging...don't hesitate to call your doctor or go in sooner than your appt.

Good luck

I had that too. Be careful about doing things that use your stomach muscles including turning over in bed and sitting up. Those stitches uses to attach the port to your muscles are still healing. Hand in there and CONGRATS!
