Just wanted to introduce myself. I am 36 yrs old and live about a hour from Cincinnati, Ohio. Have been overweight, or should I say morbidly obese(according to the bmi) for about 11 yrs now. I have about 130 lbs to lose.

I have been thinking a long time about the lap band. I finally got my husband to agree to go to a seminar. So we signed up with Dr trace Curry on 4/29. I already know my insurance Humana wants me to do a 6 month diet. So I called Dr currys office and asked if I should wait til after the seminar to do anything and she said yes and that I will do my diet through them and not my pcp. I am excited about that. I have been lurking in these forums for awhile now and just wanted to say Thank you for all the post everyone has posted. It has been so informative. Good luck to all.
