The new me!

Hello all, My name Jessica, From San antonio,Tx I sm so glad to have found this site. :( For the New year i decided to have the lap band done. I am 4 months in to the 6 month program my insurance requires. I am so excited but scared of a denial. My Dr. is Dr Keith Wright. I have heard many good things about him. I hope all goes well. I will let you know, Wish me Luck!!!

Hi Jessica! I will be moving to san antonio in june and Ive decided to have my surgery with Dr Carcamo and Wright also. I've heard lots of good stuff too. I will be attending the seminar on may 11th and my tentative date is june 15th. Unlike you, I'm self pay so I'm still saving but hopefully, I should be good to go by June 15th! I'm so excited!!

Congrats to both of you on your decision! I am 9 months into my band.. have lost 57 pounds and it was the BEST THING I ever did for myself! Good Luck and God Bless!

Congratulations - and WELCOME! I'll be travelling in San Antonio next April...so maybe we can meet! This board is wonderful for questions, support, understanding, ideas, brainstorming...I was banded 1/20/09, and have lost 35 pounds so far. No big issues to date, but I go for my 3rd fill next week.
