One year ago, I weighed 80 pounds more

I am so much happier now - slow but sure, the weight is coming off. I love my band.

Happy anniversary, Lap Band.

Great for you Weas! I see a lotta people out here that are upset because they aren't losing as fast as they think they should. But as life-time dieters we need to remember that it is not just what we are losing, but what we are not gaining! I would be thrilled to be down 80 in a year. I would be even more thrilled to know I hadn't gained 20, 30, 40 or 5o in that same amount of time.

Happy bandiversary to you! And I'd lift 80 drinks in your honor if they wouldn't make me absolutely miserable!

Wow, congratulations and happy anniversay! Well done, you are an inspiration to us that are just starting out! Keep up the good work! :w00t:

Wow 80 lbs in 1 year. That is awesome!!! Congrats. At the time you are losing 1-2 lbs a week doesn't seem like much but it sure does add up at the end of the year.

That is so amazing! I am totally impressed by you!

Also, how has the weight loss gone as you've gotten closer to goal? Are you still losing 1-2 lbs / week, or has it slowed down?

Congrats -- and happy bandiversary!

Catherine

You rock and thanks for sharing. We all need the good not just the bad. Your story helps me stay on track and know that what I am doing is worth it in the end.
