Count down!!!

Hey everyone!!!

So I only have 2 days left before I get banded(yeah)! It seems like the day would never come. I have been preparing since Aug. 08 and finally I am schedule for surg, (4/8). I have been on a pre-op diet for 10 days(that sucked:thumbdown:) but I am ready. Ready for a new me! I have so many emotions running through me right now it's crazy. I am nervous because I don't know what to expect afterwards.

I am hoping that someone can let me know....

Good luck to all...

Hello Mima1980

hi mima welcome to the family hope all goes well at surgery dont worry its not bad at all for me it was just gas pain in my shoulder but with hot green tea it went away stay in touch.lol

well honestly i can barely remember if i was in pain or not. so i take that as i didn't have much pain. my only problem was that i had to sleep sitting up onmy couch for maybe 8 days. there was some pain in my sholder. but it was tolerable. good luck!!!!!!!!!!! and congrats on your new life!!!!!!!!

I'm so happy for you. I know that all is going to go well. I was band 12/08 and I have not had any probrems. Remember that the band is just "A Tool", not a miricle worker, but I can tell you this, if you work with the band it will work for you. I've lost 54 pounds up til this date and I feel great. I can't even tell that the band is there, I'm very active. Well, tell we talk again, God Bless you and I'm excited about your future.

Thank you all for responding to me. I will keep you updated and will post pics as soon as i can.

Take care and best wishes in your continuous weight loss...

awww congradulations and the best of luck to you! xD

Good Luck!!! I know how you are feeling. I was there two weeks ago. Expect some pain when you wake up, it's uncomfortable for a few hours, but I found the worst part was the gas build up in the shoulders from being pumped full of various gases. Walking was the best for me!!! I was very thankful to stay overnight, not that I got much rest but was glad to be taken care of!!!

Hello guys!!! So my count down is almost over..I am schedule for surgery tomorrow at 12 noon. i have to arrive at the hospital at 10. I am so nervous:unsure:. I never thought the day would come when I started this in Aug. but here I am. i will keep you updated. thank you all for the support!!

Good Luck! I go in Friday at 7:30am. It seems so close but so far away. I have heard the more you walk the faster the gas pain goes away. Did that work for anyone?
