My date has been set for April 8, 2009...Dr. Joseph Moran in Raleigh, NC...I'm very nervous but also extremely excited...have lost 15 lbs on my own by eating minimal carbs the last several weeks and walking 2 miles every morning...wanted to make sure liver is appropriate size for surgery and to get a "Running Start" into my new life !!!

Hannah...you go girl! I couldn't only hope to get down to 140...lol My worry is extra skin..lol But I am young and am going to exercise as much as possible and I'm sure you will also.

It is so exciting to hear all the energy in everybody's posts. I am hoping for a banding twin too *crossing fingers* My date is 4/21....if not i'll be the straggler and just cling to my 4/20's band buddy's :0)

My surgery date is April 7th. So I guess I'm going to be a Bunny Bandster. Had my pre op with doc today I gave the office staff a thrill. My first weigh in was 306 today 276. I guess there are some who binge before surgery so they were happy to see I've already made some changes.

I've got to read literature the doc gave me and summarize it so he knows I know what I'm in for.

On the way home hubby was asking where should we go on vacation next year--I could buy one coach seat. Any ideas?
