Numbness?

I am having some numbness on the left side of my stomach. It is external I can't feel anything when I move my fingers over it. Has anyone else had this sensation?

Call you surgeon's office. I also had the same sensation but it was on my upper left thigh. I was told it just happens sometimes. Mine got better on its own, but you should call.

I had it for a long time, around the port area. They will have cut or damaged a nerve during surgery. Mine seems to have cleared up, but its been 10 month since surgery.

So glad you posted this. Mine is on the outside of my upper right thigh. When I had another surgery 6 years ago (it was much more invasive, lung surgery), I developed a numb spot on the outside of my upper left thigh. It has gotten better, but still is more numb at times than others. I never inquired about it because it was never too uncomfortable or seemed much cause for concern.
