Hello! I just had my surgery last Thursday at Yale New Haven Hospital with Dr. Kurt Roberts. I am 35 years old living in Southeastern CT. I am happily married to a Navy Submariner and am an active volunteer in our Navy military community.

I started my journey back in April 2008 finding out information, the process for the insurance company and all of the doctor's appointments. I am new to all of this but will probably have lots of questions going forward. I look forward to hearing from you all what works for you.

L&M has some good support group meetings. I've gone there to get some questions answered while investigating lap bands. I'm scheduled to be banded on 2/27 at St Vincent's.
