  1. Hello! I was banded on 1/22/09 and so far have lost about 60 pounds. I have a fainting episode back on 8/12/09 while shopping in Kohl's and they did a neurological workup and everything was negative. The doctors chocked the syncope up to having a UTI. I had another fainting episode on 8/17/10 in Walmart, fell down in an aisle and got a laceration about my right eye brow. They labeled it a seizure and now I cannot drive for 6 months here in NC. The neurologist ordered an EEG which came back perfectly normal. I am in the process of having a cardiac workup to make sure it is nothing with my heart. I have also had my doctors re-evaluate my medications and have made some changes. Both episodes have been since banded and wondered if anyone else has experience fainting episodes and have any idea if maybe it has to do with dumping syndrome, hypoglycemia or lacking Vitamins or nutrients. Thanks!
  2. How do you get that ticker? I want to add that to my replys.
  3. Hello! I just had my surgery last Thursday at Yale New Haven Hospital with Dr. Kurt Roberts. I am 35 years old living in Southeastern CT. I am happily married to a Navy Submariner and am an active volunteer in our Navy military community. I started my journey back in April 2008 finding out information, the process for the insurance company and all of the doctor's appointments. I am new to all of this but will probably have lots of questions going forward. I look forward to hearing from you all what works for you. Thanks for your support! Ilene
