heartburn/girgiling noises

Hello fellow Bandsters,

I was wondering if any of you have had an increase in heartburn, and a girgiling noise in your throat after surgery, I had no heartburn pre-op, and i've never had a girgiling sound in my throat before, it almost sounds like your stomach growling, but in your throat, too weird for me, I'am 15 months post op, if anyone can relate please advise...thanks

Yes on both fronts. You may be a tiny bit too tight. Sometimes a super tiny unfill will resolve both. Talk to your doc. I know I gurgle less after my tiny unfill, but I do have a tad of gurgling.

Yup! I gurgle in the mornings. If I'm gurgling a lot, I know not to eat anything until MUCH later in the morning. I think the gurgling has also caused my band to become TOO tight and I've had to go get an unfill. Usually I'm okay, it's just a sign that you're really tight.
