Scales!!!

OK, so I weighed this morning in the bathroom. It said 230, I knew something had to be wrong because about 3 days ago, I only weighed 226. After being depressed I realized that I had been recently weighing myself in my bedroom with carpet. So, I take my scale in the bedroom and weighed again and it said 222. So my question today is as follows, can weighing on carpet give you a different result than weighing on a rug? I know this is a crazy question, but good lord, I got 2 different reading within 30 minutes of each other? Maybe it's time for a new battery in my scale? I have no idea.

Also, try to use your scale once a week. The scale is my evil friend, if I use it everyday and gain or dont lose, I become sadden. Now, I avoid that by using the scale once, maybe twice a week.

I use it on my hardwood floor in the living room. I slip it under the couch when not in use. I only weight myself early morning after I pee, and naked. It's the best real weight.

If i am going to weigh myself I do it in the same place every time, that way I know there should not be a difference. However weighing on a carpet will give you a different result then a hard wood floor.
