I use ground turkey or venison anytime I would use ground beef. ie In Pasta sauce, in lasagne, hanburgers, in Soup, etc.

Note- Ground turkey is still high in fat. I use the ground turkey BREAST meat instead. It only has 1-2g fat/serving. Venison has similar fat content.

This is my specialty! Ive been a turkey eater forever! Its the only thing I know how to cook.

I usually season with a "sason" packet (Google it) saute it with a little Evoo. Just as it starts to brown I add loads of minced garlic.

From there you can do anything like: add crushed tomatoes and simmer for a killer ragout; or add veggies; or add BBQ sauce; or sloppy joe sauce; or No sauce. It is really versatile.

Or make my favorite turkey lasagna! But it's really not bandster friendly which is why I haven't made it in years.

Just have fun with it.

I'm not a big fan of ground turkey so I took the last deer this season and ground it 50/50 with pork loin, It turned out awesome. I made about 20 lbs of Jerky sticks and the rest chili meat and hamburger, you would swear it's beef only alot better for you. +1 on venison:lol:
