My name is Tara and I live in Orange County, CA. I have been going back and forth between doctors and getting my clearance for the lap band since June! And I finally got my surgery date!!! January 16th!! What a way to start the new year! I am incredibly excited, although the liquid diet is scaring the crap out of me. My surgeon is Dr. Sami Hamamji.

I weigh about 265 pounds right now and hope to get down to about 150. Oh, and I am 27. =)
