Seminar

My Seminar is tomorrow night at Lahey Clinic in Burlington MA.

I was hoping that those of you who have been through a seminar could tell me about your experience. I have no idea what to expect but I am very very excited!

Also, if you have already been banded I would be very interested to know what kind of weightloss success you have had!

Thank you everyone!

My seminar was very informative...l felt like my Dr's laided it all out on the line for us..Naturally they couldn't tell us everything, bec they haven't had the surgery themselves...its a very interesting night...you will know if its something you want or something you don;t want, before you leave....My experience has been positive and rewarding...Good luck to you

Actually I had visited this site for a couple of months before my seminar back in Sept so most of what the Dr spoke of was familiar to me. I can't say enough about how informative and helpfull this website is!

Jot down any questions you may have and bring them with you as we were given a Q&A session. He just went over both surgeries, bypass and Lapband, we handed in our paperwork and the office got in touch with us to schedule an appt a couple of weeks after. The rest is as they say history! From one appointment to another for the past 6 weeks...almost there!! Good luck.

Weight loss success so far 30 pounds and banded 11/11/08. 10 pounds pre op and 20 pounds post op. I feel great.

Seminar: was a huge auditorium size room, which was completely packed with people. The doctor spoke, the nurse spoke, clients spoke, and administrative staff spoke.

They allowed us to ask questions once they completed their presentation. They provided resource materials and told us what the process would be to have the surgery and what to expect after surgery.
