I have not taken any otc meds for pain since before the surgery and right now i'm at work and I have the worst headache.ACK! I don't have my list of what are some approved OTC meds I could take for a headache. Can anyone help me ? Thank you !!!

You should probably call your doctor and ask. Each doctor seems to be different. Mine says anything is ok. Some other doctors won't let their patients take much at all.

I've been taking adult liquid Tylenol and it helps. But I agree, you should call your Dr.

Liquid Tylenol was my best friend! It's a little expensive but well worth it:smile2:

Thank you !! I thought it might be tylenol but I couldn't be sure. I know he doesn't want me on aspirin or ibuprophen.

If you've been on Rx pain meds and stopped taking them, that can be a cause for the headache.. it'll go away in a day or so, it's just withdrawals from Rx pain meds.

Otherwise, tylenol is fine.. :cursing:

I was told liquid tylenol.

I was told Tylenol is fine, no Advil or Motrin. I am able to swallow the pills also.

I was told tylenol as well but for some reason, it never works for my headaches.
