NewBander in NYC

Hey all, just popping in to make an introduction and hopefully get some answers from people who know better than I. I just recently had the Lap Band procedure done 10-23-08. Going through the motions. Doing pretty good gas wise, but still sore. Hope everyone is doing ok. Cant wait to talk more with you guys!

Hi Renee,

I was banded on 10-21-08 at NYU. First 3 days were very painful, but i am getting better. Taking short walks. I drink clear broth, Slimfast thined with skim milk, herbal teas, but not really much. Cannot wait when I will feel fully recovered! Going for a check up on Wednesday.

I was banded 10-24 in KY It still hurts under my left breast like a ______

I am not or do not seem to be having gas problems. I just want to know when it will quit hurting. I have been clear liquids now for 3 days Tomorrow cream soups thinned down of course, but a flavor and warm will be good. This board has helped so much the last few months. Kathy
