hi had my lap band in August lost 10kg by the time of my first fill in september but seem to be strugling now any sugestions what I`m doing wrong please:confused:

For us Americans, how much is 10K? lbs? I had my surgery Aug. 29th and I'm down 28 lbs. Have you limited your intake of fats and sugars? Are you drinking plenty of water? I had my first fill (4 cc's) last Monday, doing okay here.

hi all had my surgery aug 7 first fill sep 12 i really havent lose alot of weight but i have loss inches . the only problem am having is i don't have very much restrictions . i had 1cc on the first fill after the fill i was restricted what happen ? and how much should i get n the next 21 oct .

Hey dimple I was also banded Aug. 7th. I had one fill on Sept. 19th and hope to have another one in November. Not too much restriction, but better than before the fill.

I am just following dr's orders with the eating and stuff and losing a few pounds a week.

I take it one day at a time and plan my meals when I get up in the morning, it depends on what I feel like eating. I have most everything except sugar and white flour stuff.

Whole wheat Pasta is good and fat free and sugar free home made sauce is great.

just have a third of what you would normally eat.

but make sure you have the 3 oz. of Protein every meal.

why am i not lossing weight ? i eat very little more that half of what i use to eat . but am gone to get a postive out look and hope it getes better with the next fill on oct 31 i have 1cc the first fill. is something wrong with my band?
