Post Something POSTIVE Thread

I thought it would be good to have somewhere to go daily to read something positive.

I've decided with my new way of life I want to be as positive as I can with friends, family, work, social life, food, etc.

I'm no longer the glass is half empty.

So, I'll go first.

I'm thankful that there was a medical intervention for me to change my life where food was concerned. I now have the opportunity to go in the opposite direction then where I was headed.

Something positive. Well I am 13 lbs. from goal and about three weeks from my one year bandiversary. I am enjoying the benefits that come from being close to goal, such as increased fitness and energy and being able to buy 'thin' cute clothes.

I feel so so much better about myself. I have lost over a hundred pounds and I really hate to think where I would be if I had not had the band. The band has truly been a miracle in my life. I finally feel like I am the person I am supposed to be. I didn't feel like ME when I was 100 lbs. overweight. I was always insecure and felt really unhappy and embarrassed about the way I looked.

Thank God for the Lap Band!!

What a great post to read in the morning. A great way to start my day off!!! Thanks

My positive post for the day is-------

I'm determined to get into two pairs of jeans that I used to wear. The only two pairs of "pants" that make my flat arse look halfway decent. :tongue2:

I just love her.(luluc) I smile every time I see her "Posh" avatar. Love it.

:tongue2: - but i hear posh doesn't like to eat or exercise, i like BOTH...LOL

when hubby gets back in town, time for some new pics - a grateful moment, i actually WANT to be in front of the camera rather than hide:smile2:

All I can say is "wow". This is a beautiful thread.

Positive:

1. I avoided the scale this weekend because I just knew that I had gained weight as I moved to solid foods. I got on the scale this morning and I actually lost 1lb!

2. I am unsubscribing to rants and political threads that are not contributing to my weight loss journey. I am subscribing to more threads like this one!

omg renewed you got an awesome time on your 5k CONGRATTTS

Thank God for sisters. Last month, my younger, taller, sister gave me her size 20 pants. They were tight, BUT, today, those 20's are baggy. YA HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PS I started my weightloss jouney at size 24/26 pants in May. OH YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :tongue2:

I think this picture says it all. From size 26/28 to size 12 in about 15 months. Yippee! I love my band and my life 148 pounds lighter.

Positive thought for the day------ I will get my Water in!!!! lol

When you figure out how to do it, let me know because I am struggling with that.
