Hello from Alabama

I am so excited I will be banded on Tuesday Sept. 30th at 7am. I have so many emotions going on right now both good and bad , I sure hope that's normal.:crying:

Congratulations on your upcoming surgery. You will do just fine. I have had my band for a little over 4 months now and have lost 51 lbs. I wish I would have done it a long time ago. What part of Alabama are u from? I am from Alabama also. Good Luck and let us know how u do with your surgery.

Good luck to you. I was banded 6 weeks ago in Birmingham, Alabama. Let us know how things go!

We have the same date! I get my band at 8:30am on the 30th. I am experiencing the same emotions as you. I really wasn't nervous or emotional until I got my exact due date. Then all of a sudden these feelings started rushing in. Good Luck to you, we will both do fine.

Good luck with your surgery! I think the multitude of emotions is perfectly normal. Where in Alabama are you? I had my surgery in March and live in Tuscaloosa.

Thanks everyone for all the replies. I live just outside Birmingham and will have surgery at Trinity with Dr. Pennington. Its nice to have other people close going thru the same thing. I wish everyone success and would love to make new friends with fellow Alabamians.
