Pressure in my chest :(

I have this intense pressure in my chest like someone is pushing on my chest bone in between "the girls". I have a feeling that it is the band around the stomach but sometimes the pressure feels like i'm wearing a really tight bra and can't take it off. Can anyone tell me when this eases up and you feel regular again? I know the gas pains in the esophagus should lessen after a couple of weeks but this upper pressure worries me a bit. Tomorrow is my 1 week since banded date

Banded 8/16 and I had a hernia repair. The intense pain is not fun...liquid vicodin....my friend but i dont want to take in the 64 0z of Fluid yikes...it hurts so bad>>

I was banded the same day and also had a hiatal hernia repair. I also have chest pain and love my meds, Hydrocodone is my case. I posted something about this, this week and few banders who also had hernias repaired complained of the same problem so I think it's normal. I use the breathing thing they gave me at the hospital. That helps a little. Drinking Water and coughing wih a pillow over your stomach also helps.

Thankful to find this topic! I'm 6 days post op and having the same intense chest pressure - it really isn't fun. I also had the hernia repair. Glad to know it's not something to worry about! :)
