Since we're getting closer and closer to November and more and more of us are finding out when our surgery dates are I thought it might be good to have a thread to keep them all in check, like a little November calendar for us all.

Feel free to add when and where your surgery is.

November 10th for me. I start my liquid diet tomorrow (10/20/08)

Very nervous.. Is it true that most of us will be on morphine when we wake up? Just curious..

I hope mine ends up being the 10th.

Hi rmartone3: You will have some type of pain reliever, but it will be different for everyone. I will not have morphine, since I am allergic to it. Good luck with your surgery.

November 11! Woooooooohoooooooo! I am so excited now that I just can't stand myself!

TQUAD64! How exciting! So far, it looks like we are on the only ones on the 11th.

I had the option to have surgery on the 14th but my birthday is the next day and I did not care to be on the hospital on that day. (my doc requires an overnight stay for everyone)

PLUS, it will put me that much closer to mushies by Thanksgiving. We are going to a HUGE family dinner that day and being on liquids will stink.....but will still be sooooooo worth it, if I am.

i was on morphine then demora the loritab liquid all worked did the job,im on loritab at home,tg i have it true everyones pain is more or less,i had a hernia to so maybe thatg why more pain for me,wishing u luck

I have an official change of date (hopefully the last one), I will be having surgery in December of this year. hey all,hope alls doing good,i have weird question sorta lol.my couch is kinda low so when i try to get up it hurts sorta where the band is,i can kinda feel it move does that sound right?like when i try to get out of my bed,it kinda hurts some when i bend to get up,im hoping this is just normal,i got banded oct 20 so it just happened sorta urgery.anone else kinda feela weird thing when they bned the stomacj to get out of bed?its not a pain but its like telling me its there so i kinda go to other side?im sure everything is ok,i know when i sink in my couch and try to kinda wiggle up tp get out it sorta hurts
