Since we're getting closer and closer to November and more and more of us are finding out when our surgery dates are I thought it might be good to have a thread to keep them all in check, like a little November calendar for us all.

I just had surgery on November 11th by Dr. Hart with True Results in Atlanta, GA.

Mine is Tuesday, November 18, 2008 with Dr. Prickett in Columbia, SC. Can't wait!

Good morning Notorious Novembers!

First time I've been able to check in since surgery...I was banded on Monday, Nov 17th. Had a good experience - I'll post more details shortly.

Surgery went fine - I think my pre-op diet really helped. I was in and out in less than 2 hours. Very small incisions, very little discomfort after the surgery. I was on a morphine drip, and after about 6 hours, I didn't need it any more. I used it the first night, but not much at all after that.

I came home on Tuesday afternoon, and other than a little pain, I'm doing fine. Got up with DD and walked DDog the past three mornings (hubby working midnights) for about a mile each time.

Feeling good, and glad to be officially in bandland!
