How long after surgery...

How long after surgery was your stomach bigger from the gas?

When did you start noticing that it was going down and the gas was gone?

What did you do to help with the gas?

Sorry for all the questions--I'm being banded on Thursday, Aug. 14.

My stomach was swollen for about 2 weeks. I didn't have a whole lot of gas and did try the Gas X strips as some have suggested but it didn't really do anything. It just king of went away on its own with time.

My stomach went down to naormal size in about 5-6 days. I didn't have any bad gas problems, but I bought the Gas X strips just in case. I have to say that walking was the best remedy for getting rid of my gas.

I was banded 5 days ago on Tuesday. I still feel quite bloated, although not nearly as much as I did to begin with. I found the Gas X chewable tablets helped me quite a bit, and walking is excellent as well.

I have noticed some of the swelling going down, I was banded on Tuesday. I really haven't used the Gas-X strips, I did buy them. My gas hasn't been bad. But I have been up and moving, I think that has helped a lot. This is the first time with surgery I have not had the typical shoulder pain from gas and this is the first time I have been so active right after the surgery.

Good Luck!
