Hi Jess! Are you positive the paperwork was submitted? Mine was submitted on a Friday and a week later I was approved for the lap band removal and a few days after that, I was approved for the sleeve. I'd first call your surgeons office & see when/if they submitted your paperwork. If it's been a week, I'd call your insurance co. Good luck! [emoji177]

Hi all! My lap band removal surgery was approved, but my sleeve surgery is "still pending". Has this happened to anyone else? Is this normal? I'm so anxious.

I have a question...my paperwork is with the insurance company as I write this, so I'm hoping for a quick and easy approval. My question is...I just made the BMI with 35.2 and 2 co-morbidities. If I get approved and lose a bit of weight and fall under a 35 BMI at surgery, can they then not pay or deny me?

Hi All, Quick question..I have a member sign in on my BCBS website. It has a section for claims. Will it show there if my surgeon's office sent in my surgery for approval? If so, will I see the answer once they decide? Thanks. The waiting stinks!!

Hi all! I've had the lapband since 2008. I'm hoping for a revision to the bypass. Does anyone who has had gerd with the band and have had the bypass still get severe heartburn?

Does anyone regret having a band to sleeve revision? Can I ask why??

Hi all! I'm hoping for some insight/advice/encouragement. I was banded in 2008 and lost a total of 67 pounds (there was more to lose). Through the years I've gained back about 20 pounds. I have severe heartburn and am on Nexium. I'm looking into a band/sleeve revision. It scares me that the sleeve is permanent. Can someone give me a revision success story to ease my mind? I admire all of you!!

My doctor's office sells their own chewable vitamins (they taste like kids St. Joseph aspirin) and I take 2 Viactiv's also. I love the Viactiv's...they are like little chocolates.
