Thanks! I had my surgery @ 8:30 and was home by 1230. I have the worse gas pains. Nothing helped until about 30 mins ago i laid on my side. some relief but lots more pain.

Tomorrow is my big day!! Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers! I am a little nervous. :w00t:

My Dr. told me that I only needed 25g of protein a day. Does that sound low to anyone else but me? I checked a protein calculator online and it says I need 83g.

Hi Angie & lolo619. I am from San Diego originally and I am working hard to get back there by the summer of next year. Texas is nice but it's not San Diego! :smile2:

Hello everyone. I am new to the site. I am Natalie and from Keller, TX. I am 31 and will be banded on Aug 27. I am excited, nervous, anxious, and relieved. Best wishes to everyone due to have surgery in the next few days... congrats to everyone that has been banded already...

I am having surgery done with Dr. Carter in Hurst, TX. He didn't require a pre-op diet. I thought that was a little strange but... I will check out the support group here, thanks for the info!
