Coumadin-Has it caused you any problems?

Hi:

I had my lap band surgery June 5, on June 23 I had a DVT (blood clot) in my left leg. I had lost 12 pounds but quickly gained it back. I had my first fill July 30, but I am still not losing weight.

Any of you had problems with coumadin? Please write back.:cry_smile:

    You coumadin use has nothing to do with your weight loss/gain. Don't go off of it unless your doctor says so.

    I have been on coumadin 4+ years (after a pulmonary embolism while 8 weeks pregnant) I am not having any problems with my coumadin post surgery. I doubt that is the issue (though, of course, I am NOT a doctor) talk to your doctor, see what he/she says. Please don't stop taking it on your own!!!
